Tembe offers an unspoilt, natural bush experience in a secluded part of South Africa. 

The public dining and reception areas are located under magnificent soaring thatch, all constructed using natural, sustainably sourced material. Tembe was designed to minimise the impact on the environment and blend in naturally with the surrounding forest.

All amenities are catered for and tariffs include; accommodation, meals, teas, coffee, two daily game drives and transfers to and from the hide during the day.

Cool off in the pool near the boma in the afternoon before venturing off with your guide on your afternoon game drive to enjoy sundowners overlooking a waterhole.

On your return, it’s time to enjoy rustic bush cuisine served under the stars by lamplight in the communal dining boma, surrounded by the night sounds of the bush.

Swap tales with your fellow guests around the campfire, watching the evening display of acapella isicathamiya singing.
